The process of what anesthesiologist do is really controlling three different things that happen to you all at once. Anesthesia, analgesia and amnesia are described as no feeling, no pain and no memory. The surgeon says taking an aspirin doesn't mean you won't feel anything because it blocks a pain receptor. "No feeling is like no emotions, no pain is aspirin's an analgesic"
