The English of Central Banking
After leaving office, he didn't really like promote himself. He gave a speech called the English of central banking with Paul Volcker in the audience about a year after Carter decides not to re-nominate him as Fed Chair. I got that sense he was a little full of himself at times with Eisenhower and stuff. So why didn't he write this self-congratulatory book after he got out and set the record straight? I would have done that.
