The sanctions hearing that was held yesterday in the now notorious case of the lawyer who cited the bogus cases relying on chat GPT. The briefing before the argument really gave it away and somebody else not us did a Twitter post like a basically alive, leading of the judges questioning which was harsh but I think justified. And they're just still doubling down on this was a highly touted research tool, how would we have known that it was not a thing we should use? It needs to be very clear that it wasn't the text ball that's the lawyers fault. There needs to be an example made here because I'm sure this has happened more and we just haven't seen those cases yet.
