Andrew murray is a professor of law at elas and specialist in new media and technology law. He says the government simply didn't understand the potential of the algorithm to produce some very unfair results, like a recipe with a wrongin radience. The data that was fed into it just didn't work. And the n results were spat out in disgust. I asked him how this illustrates the challenges in allowing machines to make decisions for us. "I am afraid, biases occur everywhere in life," he said.
