I feel like the Brooklyn scene was where some more of the metallic stuff really was getting seated quicker. That's where because you have all the big metal bands are going there, and all these awkward kids would go over there and see those bands. And they wouldn't learn from that and use that in their bands and their hall core bands. I'd say like it helped a lot man because everybody learns from each other even though queens I don't think sounded as metal in the late 80s early 90s as the Brooklyn bands. It bled over to the queen.
