The Risks of Holding Ripple on an Exchange
Bitcoin is a fantastic vehicle to send across the earth. But when you have a third party, whether like an exchange that now has custody of your private keys, they're obliged to do it. There could be plenty of different factors where those coins on there are no longer yours until you send them to your own wallet. If you have a large holding, you should either diversify at minimum or look to some kind of wallet solutions that you hold the private keys.
