The Importance of Conversations Like This

I just thought everyone kind of knew not to use copy written music in their content but apparently it was wrong. People were treating Twitch like the Wild West and Twitch was like, hey, we'd sure like to not get fined hundreds of millions of dollars by the music industry for using unlicensed music. It's both a platform and a user failure. But at the end of the day, when the platforms fail like that, it's going to blow back on the user. And that's what we saw with streamers having to pull down everything or with Twitch pulling down their entire channels because they were gaming for 12 hours with music on in the background.
