The default should always be maintaining reserve balances. You can also have your own chain as a reserve for, like, some pair chain. It's going to be reserve for its own token, probably, right? That's the pattern that we're seeing emergint. But you can also for secondary tokens issued on other chains that aren't the primary token of the chain. This is why it should only be used in in rare circumstances.
