The Role of the Spirit in the New Testament
The role of the spirit in the New Testament seems to be keeping God's people, right? How are they kept if not by an indwelling power and presence of the Holy Spirit? That's what kind of gives me a little bit of heartburn. In Abraham's case, you know, the Lord repeatedly appears to him. So at some level, I think he knows the promises and he believes the promises,. But it would have been better for Lot had he realized if I want to be blessed, I need to stick by Abraham.
