The Indian system was very much based on the Irish system they decided that they are going to have two houses and the lower house should be based on proportional representation. The first general election was I think about 720,000 people to one MP. So this is roughly where we were at and how do we figure this out because population obviously keeps changing.
In a democracy, every vote should be equal. But in India, that's not the case.
