The Cost of Getting Iron Mike Into the Ground
Frank Pasqua hired Salvatore Cordovani of Cordovani's undertaking company to retrieve the body from the apartment and bring it to Pasqua's burial services. After receiving the body, Pasqua went down to Marino's Speakeasy and showed off the death certificate in triumph. The goal now was to get Mike's body and thus all of the evidence into the ground as quickly and cheaply as possible. He gave him a cheap casket that cost $18 or $400 today. But that wouldn't stop Pasqua from making some extra money.
