Is There a Relationship Between Constraints and Freedom?
i don't think that they grapple with the potential trade off, right? That people, people sometimes do give up freedoms because they see. What if people want to be part of a grand project and realize the grand vision? What if they want to build a massive tomb to memorialize their king, for whatever reason? You know, i guess, i mean, i judge people all the time. We all do. But i try, as a historian, to be as non judgmental as possible.
