Is Evil Lead to Death?

So evil is that which leads to death. But it seems like evil can be even more nefarious than that. Where i think of like in the jewish internment camps, they had the work set, you free thing, and they were lit. They just made people carry the sand bags back and forth. Like they could have just killed them and be done with it. That would have been one degree of evil. And this certain human beings who get satisfaction in some superficial way out of being a sadist. So first they dehumanized, yes, and then they torture them.
