Uganda's Ministry of Health Is Preparing to Roll Out the diPiviran Ring
The diPiviran ring is being rolled out across seven sites in Uganda. The stocks are already in the country and by March this year we shall start giving the implementing the ring, Dr Herbert Kadama says. It's a challenge but generally we know that drugs are rolled out following a process per country. Some of these processes are slow in our countries. Sometimes it's because of the political will and the other thing is the cost. Unless some of these drugs are subsidized, I think they might be a problem for the ordinary person to access it.
