Why You Shouldn't Learn the Krebs Cycle

In general surgery, we have five to seven years of general surgery education. And then you do another one to two years to specialize in breast. We're taking these beautiful creative minds and we're forcing them to do this regurgitation. They come out sometimes not learning how to take care of sick patients effectively. The burnout and disillusionment is alarmingly high because we're treating our young so poorly.
