Transparency and Anti-Corruption Strategies
Transparency is often hailed as an important tool to tackle corruption. Michael found, however, that under some conditions, transparency actually increased the rates of bribery. What we wanted to show is that a lot of the kind of a intuitive anti corruption strategies that the people do apply in the world don't always take us to the right place. And so these kinds of theoretical framework are very useful for addressing tes problems.
