The Disparity Between How People Treat Immigration
There seems to be a gap between how people treat specific immigrants and categories of immigrants or immigrant workers in specific sectors. People are not very good at dealing with abstract concepts in polling, he says. And they don't have any sense of what a good level is - just like we always say less crime or less global warming. This is an abstract concept where they think if it's very, very high, I want less of it.
