Paul has a lot to say about this in Philippians 2 we have this beautiful picture of kenosis the self-empting nature of God that we find in Christ. In Ephesians one the beginning of the book of Ephesians is just remarkably beautiful it's so so good. Peter three says do not forget this one thing dear friends with the Lord a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years are like a day there's so much here, I want to ask does God get what God wants Peter's clear God wants everyone to come to repentance why wouldn't God want that last one?
