How to Identify Triggers and What Activates Your Emotions
Dr. Ramon says it's hard for people to identify the triggers of binge or emotional eating and that mindfulness plays a key role as Karen was alluding really helping people identify their feelings. He lays out two scenarios: one is when you're going through a bad day and then you eat pizza to feel better now scenario number two is when you've just landed your dream job and are happier than ever in your entire life so how does the mind work differently with your emotions when you're eating the same type of food? "It takes practice but like anything it takes practice," he says.
