Cities Versus Town Versus Village
The etymology of city is just as complicated as the finition of city. In then we just used a lot of words to describe places that people lived so a city comes from a latin ssivitas or sivitem. Shurt is more applied to like, citizenship or a member of a community. So i te nots came from the word civis, which means like a towns person.
