The Link Between Capitalism and Racism
Since the dawn of racial capitalism, when were markets level playing fields? When could black people compete equally with people? Kennedy asks. But i can think of several historical examples in which capitalism inspired anti racism. History offers little evidence that capitalism is either inherently racist or anti racist. As a resultn must resort to cherry picking data to demonstrate a link. Kendy also cherry picks his data when discussing race and health. By selectively citing data that shows blacks suffering more than whites, kendy turns what should be a unifying, race neutral battle ground into another proxy battle on racism.
