The Importance of Thin Rules
There's this sense that almost from the time we started being able to write things down, one of the first things we needed to write down were what the rules were. I don't think God is really interested in discussing with you, whether these things are not. He wouldn't have set Moses down with those tablets if he wasn't pretty sure that that's the way he wanted things. The thick rules are the ones that need weighing in consideration. After all, there's the case of the binding of Isaac.
