The History of Alexander Graham Bell

In 1875, Alexander Graham Bell tested a device that transmitted the sound of a reed plucked upon a wire. In 1876, he finally managed to invent a device that could transmit thesound of a human voice over an electric wire. He then submitted for a proper patent for his device on February 14th, Valentine's Day, 1876. But there was this intense legal battle brewing here, which kind of clouded the skies a bit for Mr. Bell.
