So there's nothing wrong with us just continuing to recite the creed according to our own tradition as long as we recognize the orthodoxy of it. Some Orthodox are on board with the theology of it not being heretical. They might just say it's a theological opinion, but it's within the bounds of Orthodoxy. Whereas other die-hard Orthodox would say nope, it's still heresy.
