Living Conditions and Development Potential of Young People in Hong Kong

This chapter discusses the poor living conditions in Hong Kong and how it affects the development potential of young people living in subdivided units. It highlights the need for out-of-school learning opportunities and learning vouchers for grassroots children, as well as government cash subsidies to encourage couples to have babies. The chapter also addresses the overcrowding and issues with border crossing procedures at checkpoints in Hong Kong, providing suggestions for effective crowd management measures.
