Are There Limits for Children in Sports Medicine?

I'm more than happy to provide some references and some of the probably the best articles to refer your listeners to. Some of the position statements that have been put out by some of the major pediatric organizations and sports medicine organizations which are free to download online. So we'll include those in the show notes as guidelines but setting limits I mean is it common sense based or are there known limits or stated limits rich that you just don't want to take a certain age child to in terms of maximum loads? The key message is really that they've got sound technique and they're competent at doing the movements and they're supervised you're not going to see them lifting their maximal loads every single session.
