I think that this aesthetic shift that we went through from the 80s to, I guess, the 2000s where like, yeah, people were paying $150 for jeans that had fucking holes in them. The mass marketing of authenticity, of the aesthetic of authenticity, I would like to read an actual, a real book about that. But then, OK, but then what really frustrates me about this book is that I actually think that he's on to something.
