How to Calculate Your Home Run Forecast Index
The Home Run Forecast Index gives us an easy way to determine how good or bad the air is for ball flight. The index is calculated by measuring stadium-specific weather conditions and is displayed on a scale of one to 10. Games that have the highest index, 10, for the whole game average over 10 runs and 2.8 homers over the course of the year.
