Mumba indians announced that it had a new principal sponsor for the 20 22 season, the bengalooroo based fintek company, slice. The three year contract is estimated to be worth 90 crow rupees, and its the largest sponsorship deal in the ip el's 15 year history. Slice just raised 220 million dollars recently and is a unicorn now, a company with a valuation of over a billion dollars. Eight out of the top 20 most valuable venture backed companies in 20 21 have either signed sports partnerships or committed to media investments.
