The Importance of Supporting the Humanities
I think that there's a few different things. Like one, you can support strikes as they are. There's a lot of ways to support those striking writers. Two, you can stop denigrating the humanities all the time. They call it the humanities because that's what it does. It improves you as a human being. So you can stop not funding in the humanities within educational systems. If people want to talk about what it means to be a human being, then great, good for them. You can fund arts.
