Is There a Separation in Your Child?
It sounds like he is sensitive to separation and that is common with children that are adopted. Even if they're adopted at birth they have experienced a separation. He's also had this separation with his nanny. That was a huge realization this parent had us. She's writing the note. This is somebody who's been intimately connected with. But how does he heal this and feel better by experiencing it and feeling the feelings around it? Which maybe her saying no to his request for hugs and kisses after he's pushed her away all those times. They use play for therapy in a lot of situations, but it's not often this clear. It's so beautiful when we can see it that clearly
