Introduction

ParaGuard is a small IUD that prevents pregnancy for up to 10 years using copper. Pregnancy is rare but can be life-threatening and cause infertility or loss of pregnancy. Don't use if you have a pelvic infection including PID, get infections easily, certain cancers, Wilson's disease, or copper allergy.
