The History of the Information Revolution
Any information revolution involves a new way of distributing or reproducing information that is different from and usually faster than what existed before. When an information distribution method has been around for a long time, authorities will develop ways of policing and influencing it. And when a new medium arrives that isn't controlled by the parties in power that were good at controlling the old one, one thing that happens is a consequence called the early adopter effect.
