Life can exist without consciousness also, someone might be living and quite unconscious. As long as prana is there, we'll say the person is living, when the prana goes away, we say theperson is dead. So prana is essential, life forces are essential for life, not consciousness, not at will,. Well that's not true, it's like, say the moon at night, if the moon is there we get moonlight, if themoon is not there we don't get moonlight"
