There's so much in that beautiful verse. We esteemed him, not we're as guilty of this as any one else. And christ came down to our level to free us from our own sins,. including the sin of having rejected him. He was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed. There's four rhymes there, four rounds of repetition to rivet our attention to the point isaiah's trying to make.
