The Struggles of a New Career
When my oldest daughter left university, she joined Teach First. The organisation was set up 15 or so years ago to try and get students who might otherwise have been going off to McKinsey and Goldman Sachs to do something actually worthwhile. But if Teach First exists, where the hell is Teach Last? Where the hell is the organization for people who are like me, who want to start all over again? You didn't just go into teaching, teaching in a tough, happy, comprehensive, starting with maths and I think you moved to economics. It wasn't called Teach Last, it was called now Teach, wasn't it? Which was, I don't know, oldies don't seem so
