Colonial Massachusetts - The Red Light District

Catherine nanni naylor was accused of witchcraft in 16 92. Her house contained lawn bowling and other taboo activities. As towns grew, whole neighborhoods could form that served as refuges for disreputable people and activities. The street where she lived eventually developed into a red light district which housed about half of all the known brothels in colonial massachusetts.
