Some people are just reticent and resistant to learning. It's fear based for two things: One is, if you try to teach me to do something new and I can't do it, I look bad, dumb, stupid, fail,. That's one thing. If you look a little bit beneath my skin, you're going to find out some things about me that I don't want you to know. This is definitely a Gen X trait. People get really wound up when they get someone like you who has been doing your whole life the way you've been doing it their whole life sucks.
