Dalton Caldwell: What does it really mean to do things that don't scale? Michael Sible: It seems like a lot of Founders get this confused. The term was massively popularized in a PGSA from 2013, but it was advice that he'd been giving YC Founders for a long time. He says when you think about something like food delivery, you imagine a scale-in, you want to be doing hundreds of orders a day. And so the way the founders got started was they just did all the deliveries themselves.
Dalton Caldwell and Michael Seibel talk about Paul Graham's essay "Do Things That Don't Scale" and what it really means for founders. Read the essay here: http://paulgraham.com/ds.html
