I Pledge Allegiance

CHAPTER

The Lido Side of the Blockchain Governance Debate

I'm not quite sure how to go over this in five minutes. I do think that whatever outcome we end up with as a community ends up being a pretty strong precedent. Every time there's these contentious conversations, regardless of which way it lands, the second order effect is like the entire alternate history gets very hard to explore. Whether something is technically possible, that's one thing. But whether it should be a certain way is another thing. This self-policing is not something that's completely a new concept. It underscores the reality that at the end of the day, blockchains are social constructions.
