Luke 5 shows the struggle between north and south. King Asa rebuked by a prophet for basically turning to the Gentiles for help instead of turning to the Lord for his assistance. The southern army realizes they're in trouble, so now they have to withdraw from the south. They have to leave Ramah and they have to go and defend their territories in the north by the Sea of Galilee.
