I was surprised at how much I was laughing reading it. It really felt like, you know, the language was obviously a tad outdated but the things that were funny felt very modern. The guy basically is in horrible debt because his son is addicted to horse betting. And so he wants to send his son to a school to learn to be like a sofist to argue his way out of all his father's debts for him.
