Nature Study

Mason: We're missing out a lot in our science studies by not beginning with nature study. When children are old enough to understand that science itself is sacred and demands some sacrifice, all the common information they've been gathering will form an excellent groundwork for the scientific education. In the meantime, let them consider the lilies of the fields and the fowls of the air.
