Most of the time with diarrhea, we don't want to actually use antibiotics. If you have a viral infection, you are compromising your own microbiome. You are increasing your risk of complications and antibiotic resistance. On the flip side, most of the time we don't need them either. It's going to end up being self-limited.
We’ve all wrestled with diarrhea at some point.
