The power was out in our house. I thought that it was weird since I was barely using any lights or anything in the house. It crossed my mind that maybe my dad didn't pay the electricity bill but if that were the case why would the power just be shut off at night? How random I thought. We hadn't lived in this house long but we've had instances where every single light in the house was on for a long period of time without a fuse blowing. Why was this happening now? Was it a power surge? What if somebody flipped the breaker and they've come to kill me in the shower like the movie Psycho?
