Hemorrhaging?

I relate with the concept because any certain times in my existence when there has been a period of difficulty or things out of hand, let's say, or too much going on. I had this term called hemorrhaging, because it was almost like no matter what's in my efforts. And so, you know, the conclusion there, is that there's like an optimum pressure and people have a tendency to sort of shut down if they get overwhelmed.
