The Differences Between a Dual Sport and an ADV Motorcycle
Dual sports typically have a dirt bike style seat as much for styling as actual maneuverability, and those are not comfortable. The more purposeful an extreme a dual sport or a sport bike gets, the less comfortable they become from a seat perspective. I think even if you're looking at a beginner rider, what I liked about the bikes that we picked, the 310 versus something like the CRF, is that the 310 doesn't run tubes. Well, the 390 ADV's got tubeless spoke, but you're spending $7,400 to get that bike, so it was a little out of the budget for this comparison.
