Taiwan Will Fire on Chinese Warplanes if They Get Too Close to Taiwan's Coast

The Taiwanese military has reaffirmed that it will fire on Chinese warplanes and naval vessels if they come within 12 nautical miles of Taiwan's coast. China has been flying military aircraft closer to Taiwan in response to the island's growing ties with the US. The Lee Amendment would look to address the price gouging that the US arms makers have been doing, because they can get pretty much whatever they want out of the Pentagon.
