The Importance of a Second Movie
The idea for a sequel started to, you know, bro, it wasn't until we fully experienced the overwhelmingly positive response from audiences that it was 100% a sure thing. So yeah, bigger and better is the cliche version of what you want from a sequel. Our goal was to deliver on more exciting action just to push the stunt element even further than we did with the first movie. But also to try and dive a little deeper into the emotional core of these characters. Because people enjoyed that about the first one and there was the tip of the iceberg about this character. We're like, hey, let's explore that a little more deeply in this movie.
