I've received the most hostility from my peers in this place. It's extraordinary how out of touch people in Parliament are. The levelling up bill had nothing in about funding that is available for infrastructure and how it could go towards childcare. So we wanted to change that, because if you're building lots of new flats and there's no childcare, it doesn't matter of the school places - what do you do with the kid until they're five? I am somebody who's been campaigning for universal childcare for a long time; it basically pays for itself.
